Photography.

"It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power."Alan Cohen
Don't hold on to your past no matter how great it was. You can go back to the same exact place with the same exact people, and it will not be the same. We live in four dimensions, one of them being time, which changes the world every moment. And there IS power in this change. And the life IS this change, going from one moment to another.
There have been attempts to capture those moments for a very long time. Back in the Ancient Egypt people were carrying little bottles filled with pleasantly smelling oils with them. You would smell one of your bottles whenever something good would happen. And each time you wanted to go back to that moment you would smell it again.
Photography offered an amazing new way to conserve the moments, we want to remember. Take pictures, and each time you want to travel back in time, open up your photo album. Those are the moments you lived. Those are the moments you enjoyed.
